Corrections

Reporting from where things are worn means getting the place, the season and the price right. When we do not, this is how it is fixed.

  1. Grounds for a correction

A wrong location, a wrong season or climate detail, a price or availability that was not true when published, or a product attribute we misread. A photo credit or a name spelled wrong is fixed and noted too.

  2. How the fix is shown

We edit the sentence and leave a short note at the foot of the piece with the date and the change. If the correction affects the conclusion of a routine or a wear report, the note goes at the top instead.

  3. Prices and availability

Prices quoted are for the date and place named. A later price change is no error on our part. If a reader shows the price was wrong on the date named, we correct it.
